I just paid for four months on the caedes cadre and the ads are still running. What happened?

It might be that *caedes has not yet been able to upgrade your subscription.

the subscription is automatic I think so if it hasn't worked you should check your pay pal statement to make sure the transaction has been processed correctly and if it has then PM or email Caedes to see if the problem is at this end.

Hi...yes I just checked my email and I got a note from paypal saying my payment was sent...and I sent a note to ppigeon telling him about it, so hopefully he will check into it. Thank you both a lot for your words...V

Well I just found out that even tho I got an email from Paypal that they had send the money to caedes, he has a secondary job and I'm sure he's busy, but would be nice to have this taken care of by someone.

It's kinda too bad that the ads are still running for me. Wish they were gone, they're a total nuisance...and I did, after all, pay four months ahead, I'd like to believe that there is at least something good about that.

Patience is the key Verena. We only want to live in a perfect world ;=)...as soon as *caedes is able to respond to your PayPal problem, then both the ads and the uploading problems will be solved.
There is something good about paying. It keeps the site running by helping to pay for the bandwidth that all of us use with the images we upload.
The ads not running is *caedes thank you to us for helping him pay, but then we also lose revenue from the ads. Sort of like a double-edged sword.

Yup, doubled-edged swords often rule the world, don't they?! Like I keep repeating, it would be good for there to be an available "assistant" who would be able to tend to a few matters when mr.caedes himself isn't able to be here. I guess that's my only request, just food for thought..V
