Anyone else's navbar really big? I didn't know if it was just me...

Sure as soon as I get home, I just upgraded to XP SP2, and they did some tweaks with IE, I'll be posting it shortly.

I have always found that the default setting on the IE navbar is too big for me, heres wht I do: Richt click on the toolbar; select "Customize". Change "Text Options" to "No text labels" and "Icon Optins" to "Small Icons". Go through the "Current Toolbar Buttons" and remove all the ones you don't use (for me, search, media, history, mail, print, edit, messenger and the seperators). Close that and right click on the toolbar again, untick/uncheck everything except "Standard Buttons" and "Address Bar". If you have removed enough buttons you should be able to drag the address bar up alongside the toolbar, so you only have the single navbar. Then rightclick again and lock the toolbar. Much more compact. Hope this is what you were after...

There is an idea for a tutorial that isn't up on the tutorials & it's another basic one. =]

Again I would be happy to do it, if there was any real interest.

Ha, what do ya know, it isn't doing it any more, imagine that. humh. I don't know....
