Missing image ?

Since i do not have access to 2 forums like: Senatorial Debate and Senate Floor, i can not correct moderators, allthough they do good work.

The latest rule at Caedes about nudity is that nude images are allowed if the subject is shown in public.

Therefore, i wondered where my image Holland, Amsterdam 16 went ?
The image was shot in Amsterdam, in one of the several XXX museums, clear and free access to anyone.

This particular image did show only 1 nipple, but covered behind lace.

Eventhough nudes from public places are allowed now, i did edit this image, and left out some clear things at the bottom.

In my oppinion the image is not harmfull in any way, specialy since i did edit away certain parts.

So, please store my image. It is part of every day life Amsterdam overhere .

In Europe you can not visit a museum or a old public place without seeing nudes paintings or statues, what is it with you on the other side of the Atlantic ? We do not even notice, it is just part of the scene...

PS.
I do accept the fact that moderators are needed, but they themselve do not keep up to date with the latest rules,
as shown. They even do not bother to write a pm back why a image is not allowed.
Politeness is vital if you run a free board, 614 free posted images is my share, a common curtacy would be in place ?
How much work would it be to write a pm ?

Grrrrrrrrr.

Hans,

Holland

first off ..

the rules that are in place reflect the desires of the site owner\creator at the time he opened the doors to posters other than himself ... not any "other side of the Atlantic" values moratorium .. He wanted a place viewable to ALL ages and moral/value systems ...

there have been NO new rules allowing nudity ... we can't even get a yay or nay on bagels in the breakroom

if you were to read the Code of Conduct .. you would note, at the bottom, that he has expressly stated that "what is good for Europe is Not good for the site", in the following line:

"*NTV code: Only content that would be ok on network television is acceptable. (network television in the US, not Denmark!)

now, that is what it has always said ... so why the long face and question? ... them's the rules and they are there for a reason ... do you really want the content of this site to devolve into bikini strings and nipples just because you were born into it?

RE: PMs sent .. We have an automated PM system for certain violations, it still requires human interaction to send it ..that is all you can hope for ... just because YOU choose to violate the CoC doesn't mean I have to spend any more of my time letting you down easy

Hello Keifer ! Thanks for your responce.
Of course, i am not posting images that are not allowed here, on purpose.
But it can happen that i post images, wich are completly normal overhere, but apparantly not accepted under your network television US rules. Since i live in Holland, i have no idea what is allowed under that rule, outside comman sence of cource. It is also clear to me that this board is visited by children as well.
I got in problems before, without doing this on purpose. At one time, i was running a series about the Belgium capital city Brussels. In that series i posted this one : Brussels # 24
The image was accepted, but some time later, it did disapear. I did not understand why, and heard that this one was deleted because of violation of rules.
I wrote back that this statue stands on a square for everybody to see, and it gets about a million visitors each year.
Since then the rules where changed a little overhere at caedes. If the image contains nude, (painting or a statue) it had to be on open display.
The image where this thread is about, is on open display in a museum here. Weather you like it or not, Amsterdams red light district is world known, and visited by
95 % of all tourists the city gets. Furthermore, the image did not contain explicite nudity. Well, is this image worth all the chattering ? well no, i do not think so.
The only thing that bothers me, is that no pm is send with a short explanation. You call that wasting your time. If i would be posting knowingly and willingly unallowed contenct, then you would be right. But that is not the case. Lets end this thread here, it is all not worth it.

Hans.

no rules have been changed, for the moment, the code of conduct is as it was when it was first posted.
