I believe that due to the incredible quality of Marideath's art there is a small problem with the Top New Image list. As I write, all but one of the TNIs are Marideath's art. I can appreciate this, as these are quite clearly the best new images on the site (the other being kchristine's, of a fairly similar style). Whilst obviously these are the TNIs and should rightfully be there, I believe that they do not fully represent the range of images on the site. Is there a way of limiting the number of TNIs per author to perhaps two, so there is a broader representation of styles and techniques within the list?

Good idea. That would be easy to do.

Thanks for starting this thread, Jon. I agree with your idea for many reasons, not the least of which are (1) personal embarrassment at the attention; and (2) the knowledge that said attention will cause so many of my images to show a dramatic decrease in their c-indexes due to the recent (and welcome) renormalization.

Glad to learn that Caedes agrees as well and can fix this problem with little effort on his part. I’m looking forward to having him take care of it.
