Imagine a tripod with Trisbert or Kodo engraved on the legs… nice. But I will stick with my trusty old Manfrotto and buy the next car with the savings.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

you could hire 3 scantily-clad human beings of your choice to lean together at their heads for that money

AND .. have somebody to talk to while waiting for your flash to recharge

Very nice indeed...I would give up my Velbon anyday, just need an investor. I did not find the weight?

Impossible to show my old D70 on that tripod ;-)

Max weight it holds is 8 kilos. A little restrictive to most users I would think. A tripod of this quality and cost should hold at least 25 kilos like some of their other models.

Eric. You’re comparing studio level tripods that aren’t designed to be carried around much, to a tripod that is designed for use in wilderness areas.

Pierre, for that money, you could chip in a little more, and get the D-3...now that's a sexy camera *drools*

I doubt the weight capacity would be a problem for anybody, for example, Canons heaviest SLR coupled to their heaviest lens weighs in at 6.5kg so well within its tolerances. Even a big Hasselblad medium format setup wouldn’t really trouble it.
