nice site.. but the background you chose for the site, the bright blue, it hurts my eyes. idk, maybe it's just me, but i dont care for that part of the design at all.

Your choice of backgrounds is not terribly distracting to me until I scroll. Even then, minor for me. Having said that though, I would suggest something more neutral as well.

Clicked on the links in your 'bio' ... not sure if you are able to code it such that you can bypass the freeweb search engine, but that might be a consideration.

Dovetailing on that thought ... then perhaps, whichever and whatever sites you do link to ... might avail themselves and place a link back to yours. Just a thought or two.


Under the "My Blog" section:

Again, just an f.y.i. that you are most likely aware of ... keep ... keep updating it. Don't let that facet fall to the wayside ... or if you don't wish to invest that time. Lose it. Don't mean to sound blunt, I think you understand me here.

And again, this said as I am unsure if you have that option available to you in making changes to/in the template.

I have to agree, the background colours are nice but distracting.
Also the darker blue layer seems to be an odd shape. It's possibly including a banner or title that is not there.

Also, just my opinion but the image on the black bar, perhaps the title image itself?, could be softened to fit in more, I think just the stark square looks a little out of place but I see what you are aiming for..I think anyway.

Now, if only I could get over my hurdle and learn the rest of the code I need for my latest site project...

Just out of curiosity, are you also posting over at deviantART ? I could swear I saw an image remarkably similar to your Luminescent Voyager over there.
