Im 14 and I currently use a Canon PowerShot SD 600.
I have a tendency to drop things (like cameras) so i want a camera that is durable. Im not too sure what i am exactly looking for, but do you have any recommendations for a young photographer?

one of those shockproof, waterproof, toddler proof, pet proof Olympus jobbies sounds like the thing for you....

Hubby has one of those Olympus due to needing it for his job which is often in rugged terrain, wet/snowy/sleet conditions and it has remained steadfast without so uch as a burp. I haven't asked if he has dropped it, but it sure has been a proven workhorse. ;=)
Pictures are good as well =)

I think panasonic also has the water-proof cams.
Is your SD600 not working so well?
