Here's a good thread; What's your equipment? What do you like/hate aboutit?
Me; Canon Rebel XTi, like the image quality and features
Lenses are sooooooo expensive
But I got myself into that one...
There is already a thread for this, I can't remember where it is. I have my camera listed on my home page under projects. You have a good camera, but the lenses are always the most important, spend the extra money for good glass, and you can always upgrade the body later. I have a Canon 40D and love it, with a Canon 70mm-200mm f/4 L series lens I use for my bird photos. No complaints at all. This Spring I will get a Canon 100mm macro for Insect photos. I think there should be a place on our home page that says "My equipment" this would include your camera, lenses and software programs that each member uses. That would also let prospective camera buyers compare the photos from each photographer and camera and help them make a decision which one to buy. And eliminate more threads on this subject. Thank you John, for bringing this up.
I absolutely love it. I just need practice to get the full effect of the whole camera. I feel like I never have time, or many beautiful things to take pictures of where I live.
I wouldn't change a thing except the lens prices!!
