This piece seems to have slipped off everyone's radar, and I don't think it should. It's called Antelope Canyon by fotobob.
Have a look everybody. If you've already seen it, go see it again. I think it may be the most beautiful image I've ever seen, and it was one of the big influences on my night-time work.
His manner was always pleasant and helpful and I don’t think he ever lost his cool. At least not that I’m aware off. We often discussed techniques and equipment by pm.
I actually downloaded one of the photos in the series and still use it today as the wallpaper for my laptop at work. I downloaded it before I became a member; it was one of the first photos that attracted me to this site! A wonderful series.
I definately have seen his work, and it is truly magnificant!!
I actually saw the man below's artwork at an art show here in Orlando about 5 years ago, and was amazed when I saw fotobob's work.
This artist does truly unique work. He takes the picture, and his wife, extends the photo with original painting on the frame. You can't tell the difference between the picture and the painted frame. Really incredible. Here's a link for some of his work and his technique. "Antelope Canyon Blues" is the one that reminded me of fotobob's work.
