And while we are drinking beer, playing PF, and mooning folks...will we bother to remember to break out our camera's and actually snap off a few pix???
The moon is now in the Umbra stage, and will be visible as a brownish red for about an hour. Sandwiching the moon is the star Regulus (from Leo constellation) and Saturn. Those with telescopes should also be able to view Saturns rings tonight (weather permitting).
So put on the Floyd album, nice and loud...go outside, drop your pants and start mooning...err, I mean go outside and watch the moon. We won't have a total lunar eclipse again until 2010.
So anyone care to join me in a beer, some Pink Floyd and a little astronomy??
