Had a very quick look - there's lots incomplete so no comment re that, but I did like the slideshow as a way of viewing images - you should make that more noticable as a feature - I only found it by searching around. (something I might not not do normally). Found the site easy on the eyes and easy to navigate so far.
Can't see much from the client side code but it looks pretty groovy. I've been messing about with PHP recently and I've been impressed with it. Are you using a MySQL database?

Yes, it uses MySQL. I'm using Coppermine, so I don't really have to mess around with PHP myself, because I don't know much about it. So luckily Coppermine does most of the hard work for me.

Basically coppermine is a gallery. It's a freeware script that's coded in PHP.
I've finished migrating all the images on my site to the new one, so I guess it's no longer a process in progress, but now a finished revamp. Now I only need to get my domain name re-directing to the new site.
