Apple have lodged a patent for what they describe as a chamelionic computer casing which basically uses banks of tiny embedded LED's to actively change the colour of the computer itself either by user preference setting simple patterns (like tiger stripes presumably) or to visually show the state of the computer's health like red if it's in trouble with something. who cares if they only have 4% global market share - they still continue to dominate in the style stakes although it's unclear what this would be used with - possibly the G5 iMac or the tablet Mac which they have also lodged patents for this month.
wow, do u mean the actually color of the case? That would be quite odd.. Maybe for a gaming PC (which are generally not mac, even though they could kill any PC) but i dont know.. But I do have it right, right? You mean the color of the case?
(My taste of course, not for everyone.)

(& it's not even finished yet) >:]
Style is in the eye of the beholder. I have an IBM T40 that I think is one of the best looking machines I've seen, yet there is no color on it except black. It's simply thin and black. :)
*My PC beats a Mac on style hands down* oh dear - have you put 22" spinners on it as well?
:-)
Xentrik - I have to agree with you about IBM - I'm a big fan of their black geometric styling. It must be their long running partnership with Apple that has rubbed off on them.
haha, my machine is a flat black with blacklights virtically up the front, with a blacklight inside the box, with a glass side w/lit up fan
too bad she's having issues right now..
The powersupply that doesnt fit and missing side casing come standard. I threw in the missing floppy drive shield in the casing and the hanging shelless wireless receiver.
I'll probably throw in some balled up lecture notes and maybe an old pizza box to match the mellow yellow as the semester rolls on. But those are purely for aesthetic reasons.
The beast is better, because its better looking, notice how it wasnt included within the tests. I didnt see any "The Beast 450%". Thats called the Apple Skew.
Heh, the Beast looks like the old wreck I used to have.
& I am 30 & enjoy being different so therefore my PC reflects that. I also like something pleasing to look at while I work. Especially as I spend a lot of time at my PC. (:
& if you mean it looks like it had an argument with a JCB when you said "new and innovative technology and design" then we agree. ;)
(My old wreck had a fight with my 25" Sony TV {I dropped the TV on the PC one day, word to the wise don't do this it is a bad idea} & came off worse so looked like yours does)
