I was wonder also if there was other sites like this that allowed posting of pics and allowed others to give info on the pics on if they liked it and if they didn't? I have tons of pics to post that have done and seems the 2 limit here limits the posting of pics from new comers. I mean for me..I do 3 or more pics per day on some days. but just my thoughts and not meaning to offend.
There are other sites out there that allow the same. However, the downside to those sites are there are many more ppl. You would think that would be a great thing - but all it really means is that fewer ppl will actually view your work because there are so many more images to view. So, less views and less comments. Which, really doesnt help if you are looking for imput or advice on your images. I have found that caedes.net is truly the best site for this purpose - friendly ppl, quality work and sometimes even some good advice on improvement. I'll be a lifetime member as long as the site is here. I've found nothing better. I understand about the limit - but, I feel this is necessary to keep what we have instead of becoming a site where you tend to get lost in the crowd.
There are plenty, but most are not nearly as organized. There are near 100 images uploaded a day, if the non cadre limit was 3 like u said and everyone uploaded 3 a day, there would be near 300. Basically you would submit your image and at the end of the day it would be near the 10th page of the new images!! Not many (if any) would scroll through 10 pages of pics to find and comment on yours...
I know sometimes its frustrating, you have lots of images to upload and cant get them out there and get comments right away, but its not like they wont get submitted, you just have to be patient and wait till the next day. All about patience, its worth it in the end, I promise.

well for example my pics are not photos taken..mine are made in photoshop. I can understand some kind of limit on say pics that people take. And some kind of limit on beginner artist so to speak on graphics done on computers. But if I submit 2 pics in 20 hours and still only get none or 2 or 3 comments then it just makes me ask why bother posting more and I to would prob either A: not want to come back or B: come back to get images but then not post anymore. And that to me means more pics or perspective good artist that decide not to post and keeps people like me and others who also like good art work from seeing it. But again...this is just my thoughts.
When a photographer goes out on a session and takes pictures, they take alot. I've gone out and taken several hundred, so we have as many to submit as a digital artist. If you submit an image that people really like, it will get a ton of comments. After images are a few pages back in the new images, they tend to "disapear" and not get viewed anymore. This usually happens over the course of a day with the current limits. Could you imagine it happening in a few hrs? If you want to get your pics viewed, submitting lots at once isnt going to make that happen.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder ... and we always see more or less in our work than what others actually see ... i agree with noobguy ... keep trying and it will come.
i am also a newcomer to posting pics and i could not be happier than when i see that someone has d/loaded one of them ... if they take time to comment then that is a bonus

The thing about Caedes.net is quality, rather than quantity. The limits are in place to get the cream of the crop submitted (or at least that's what it's supposed to do... ideally). If you have say 5 images you normally decide to upload the best 2 and if you think the others are also good quality you upload it at a later stage.
hiya i have to agree with our resident noob in taking a lot of photos and people will in time spot one that they like. for instance i was recommended to take photos of local monuments and such that you would expect to see on a post card or a calander and i was walking along the river to a monument of a bouy thats near my house and turned and looked up one of the side streets then carried on and reached the monument and went click click click before i even realised that i'd passed a tree smack in the middle of the road so went back for a few more clicks of that. result - monuments posted 0 - trees in street 1 posted twice, first was too dark. but that shows if i'd not turned and looked about me i'd have missed a nice and funny pic.
...yet nobody even answered the question at hand. Most art sites are open to the masses only for download, nto posting. Deviant Art is a very popular site. Just go to deviantart.com and you should find it. I don't know what the uploading rules are there. I prefer this one more for many reasons, but mostly for the open feel. That site is an art site, not just background, so they ahve all kinds of shapes. I would have to search for more. Have you tried google?
I recommend PhotoSig as a great place for a serious photographer to go if they want to display thier work im not sure how many uploads you get though. but it does include a very impressive rating and comments system!
Check www.3dlinks.com that's a beautifull site. But you can only find computer-maded images there, so no real photo's. But if you want to see realistic computer images.. then that's the place.
