I think Caedes was maybe toying with the idea of setting up the CSS in such a way that you could change styles. Maybe that would be for fonts too.
As Blizzardboy says, I guess it might not be too bad to code some basic functions so that you could have bold text or whatever in posts simply by clicking a button or something.
But do we really want everyone bolding and italicising everything? I quite like the fact that you have to actually think about it in order to put bold or italics or underline or a link. After all, it's not rocket science to stick a couple of <b>tags</b> either side of a word.
Perhaps, if you like this idea of fonts, you could put a post on the dev site under the feature bloat section.

The site already has the built-in capability of changing the template at a moments notice. It is much more powerful than just changing fonts. I can totally redesign the layout of all the pages on the site. It also has the ability for users to choose the template that they want to use, but that isn't turned on right now since the site only has one template programmed for it. When we finish the new site design you'll be able to choose between it and the current design.
As for adding text modifiers, I agree with CH's comments. HTML is easy to learn and if you can't learn it then I don't want you using text modifiers in the first place. =)

haha funny stuff... theres both a good and bad side to havin fonts and stuff, sometimes its hard to read fonts and some people might make their fonts really big or small... maybe we could have just a few options for easy-to-read fonts and only one size and a couple of colors to choose from. then it would make everything a little simpler and we can all just get along lol
