I am looking for a new monitor, but even with all the on line searching I have done, I am still not sure what to get. Does anyone have a recommendation for a 22" monitor for the PC? Thanks.

SAMSUNG 2220WM . I don't have this model, but, I've been VERY happy with my Samsung 915N for several years now!!

The SAMSUNG 2253BW has tons of great reviews!!

Hard to go wrong with a ViewSonic Graphic Series VG2230wm as well.

That's just my 2 cents, make it 3 cents worth!! Hehehe!! Good luck Cyn!!

Maybe if there is some money in the budget ... consider one of these as well as the new monitor?

I checked out the three monitors you mentioned, Randy. I am usually apprehensive when I read the few negative reviews. I am re-investigating that first Samsung you mentioned.
Here are two I have been contemplating Staples SP2107W.and HP W2207. There is also a newer version of the latter(HP W2207H) that has HDMI, which I am told delilvers a digital image, but I would need to get a new video card with that one too. Is anyone familiar with either of these models?
I'd love a Spyder, Les, but one thing at a time. I have to convince my husband that I need a new monitor first! lol

My advice is to go actually look at them before you buy.But if you are going to buy something online be sure and read their return policy on flatpanels.

I'm not familiar with either you selected Cyn, sorry!! I sure wouldn't buy a "Staples" monitor, that's just me!! I'm unsure who manufactures them for the Staples store. I look at it like if Burger King sold monitors, I just wouldn't buy one. I'd stick with a brand you know...NEC, Samsung, ViewSonic, HP, etc.

Perhaps money is no object?? Then GO FOR THIS ONE !! Maybe you wanna go retro?? WHADDA BARGIN !!

Maybe you wanna be the REALLY cool kid on the block... TOUCH THIS !! ~click on "The Magic", heck...check'em all out~

You know, Randy, I think I'll hold out for Touch This!! Maybe I'll get one of those computers that folds down to fountain pen size while I'm shopping too! lol Can I pick one up for you?

I'm not laughing at WHADDA BARGIN!! either. They say with graphics, the CRTs have some advantages, though I didn't stop long enough to find out what they are. :)

As for GO FOR THIS ONE, maybe with my stimulus check from Uncle Sam! HA HA HA HA HA! Thanks for looking around and you sure found some honeys!

Thanks, tbob. I have been doing that when I can and Randy, that Staples monitor looked better than the 22" Dell they had on display!
