Comment requests

We all get loads of comment requests and I generally pop by and leave a note but recently I've taken to looking at the members gallery and karma before hand. In the past week I've had three requests about images of one member who has about 30 images on here but has never commented about another artists work. The way I look at it if you don `t give out you don "t get back, so I blanked the request. Now for new people here I think comment requests are fine as this is a way to make friends and get feedback on your work and build confidence to do likewise but I think when you have uploaded 30 odd pics and still not giving something back comment requests should be stopped

Ahh, the 'wallflowers' ... yes.

Wellll ... playing devil's advocate here ... perhaps there is some activity on their parts that is not quantified by just viewing their karma alone.

Such as ... voting, exchanges in PMs, favourites ...

I think a voluntary opt out of comment requests option might be an idea. Personally I don't feel I need extra comments on any of my stuff, I feel I've had my fair share over the years and maybe they could be directed toward people who are just starting out and need them more than I do.

That's the best idea I've heard...'if you don't give out you don't get back' that's the best I've heard on this...v
