Used to but then I ran out of cash - was going to take it up again this summer until i realised the Hoyt gear I wanted was going to set me back the thick edge of £2,000 so i put it off until next year - plus the weather has been atrocious this year and I prefer outdoor meets to indoors shooting.

that's too bad. i just barely set up a new range in my backyard. i also just barely bought a new thousand dollar bow as well. it's been worth it. good equipment changes everything

thousand dollar equiptment!!! geez, the most expensive paddles i've purchased for the Table Tennis Club were just a little over a hundred dollars. mmmm, pick your sport with caution haha

yeah. archery equipment goes a lot higher than that, but i couldn't have decided on a better bow. it works perfect

I've thought in the past of taking up archery, but you've put me right off!

$1000 bow! wow! Mind you, I just converted that to £ and I guess it's not massively expensive

no, no. i didn't mean to put you off. i got one of the best. if you're just starting, you aren't gonna need a thousand dollar bow. three hundred is most likely the lowest.

Yeah i did some with my Grandpa, (late Grandpa,) and it was pretty good. Course we used old equipment and my arm was always raw afterwards, but I enjoyed it!

It’s a great family sport and one of the few sports where age is no barrier. I’ve been involved since my teens. It’s a bit like golf, confidence and practice will do more for your scores than the most expensive gear. There is little in the world more satisfying than sinking a few shafts into the gold at 50 yards on a windy day. Good luck in your upcoming tournament Swith.

If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs, then it’s possible that you don’t fully understand the situation.
