I think we may have already done this... maybe with song lyrics... but anyways...
The winner provides a quote and everyone else has to guess which film it's from. No google, that makes it too easy. Try not to make the film itself too obscure.
Twinks is on the right track. Which of course rules out the subsequent guesses.
I thought this one might go quickly as I think it is the type of film where certain people would know it by heart... But since it hasn't, here's some more (from a different part of the movie):
The problem is Sherree that someone as old as me remembers films from 1981. All I have to say is:
"When you get caught between the Moon and New York City
I know it's crazy, but it's true
If you get caught between the Moon and New York City
The best that you can do ...
The best that you can do is fall in love"
Steve ... now you have me singing that song all day ... tyvm.
I have a feeling he knows what the film is though, but isn't saying ... just yet.
Les ... if I vaguely recall Cher wasn't in the film. Methinks you are thinking of "Mask" ... another good one.
*makes a mental note not to pick films from 1981* or to play Trivial Pursuit with Steve, especially when it's movie categories ... he knows them by heart.
Way to go Steve!!!!! Not only do you know 1980's film..but not too bad on one from 1998.
The scene was when the kids in the neighborhood were Tormenting Sally's kids..."Witch, Witch your a Witch"!!
Sally responds.."You'd think after three hundred years they'd come up with a better rhyme!"
Great job Steve...you are the master and the Stage is all yours.
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.

A musical pocket watch in fact. I think Paul has it so here's a link that totally gives the game away but it's worth it as in my opinion this is a better theme tune than "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly". Please click HERE.
Spot on.
I went to see "For a Few Dollars More" in 1966 when I was 13. In those days in Britain you had to be 16 to get into an X-rated film, which this was. this was my first X-rated film - fond memories.
You'll get your reward once you've rounded up all the baddies.
No-one is taking a bite at this. This was a big film in its day and its Director went on to be famous for a film where a lump of ice had severe consequences.
Right sort of era Lauren. My film was made a year later than yours.
Another quote:
Announcer: "Ladies and Gentleman, with your kind attention, and permission, I have the honour of presenting to you one of the most remarkable men in the world."
Hint: The character/actor credited with this line in this movie ... is much beloved by many. Including ... moi. And his cameo alone, is more than worth the price of admission. :o)
Well at first I was trying to think what sequels were in the theatres atm and none came to mind... Now thinking that it must be the latest offering of an oft retold classic?

First one: "It's too bright in here".
