I would have thought this was fairly self evident... but please, don't use the "Complain" button to send comments to people about their pictures! For a start they won't see them as complaints go to the moderators only, and secondly this button should be used to (surprise surprise) complain about something which you believe is inappropriate...

Howdy Sam, I haven't used that complain button once and never will. In fact most the time I totally forget about it. I can deal with things on my own without being a crabby complainer

I think the complain button is there to flag images that are perhaps inappropriate or are not the work of the person posting it. In such cases the complain button is needed to draw a mods attention to images that has sneaked through and simply should not be here. If a mod is on I will send a pm with a link to the offending image but if not I hit the button and I don`t think of myself as a crabby complainer.

If the word 'complain' is causing confusion, it could be changed. On another thread (in vigilante justice?) someone mentioned a 'report abuse' facility on another site.

I thought it should be fairly clear... I think the problem only occurs when people don't actually read what it says.

I just opened the complain link and read what it said. Can I complain about the price of gas, global warming or the Iraq War?...Grin

Of course you can, the comment will be passed on to a moderator, and action will be taken if warranted :-)
