Ya know....
I was wondering, I've got alot of REALLY OLD Programs That I've purchased over the years. Kai Power Tools, (Simply AMAZING Filters) Photoshop 5. Believe it or not, I still got it and Kai Power Tools loaded....or actually "Reloaded", mainly just to see if they still worked. The last computer I used it on was a 486 with Windows 3.11. Well, It still works...with XP and Vista....that piece of Cr#$!! :-)
I was told by a friend with a brother that works for Adobe, that if the program is no longer "Suported" by the manufacturer...It's a "coaster", even if it still works.
He then gave me his old copy of Photoshop 6...since his brother sent him CS. He said, ya can't update it, but it works just fine if ya want to update from 5. :-) He said his brother told him...."not a problem, as long as you're not selling it to anyone."
As for your question, I ran Corel Draw....Years back. Probably to long to really remember how it worked, but.....It's NOT a photo graphics manipulation software by my memory. It's more like "Print Artist". Which I also bought, and STILL Run with my XP 5 year old computer. :-) Now THAT's a cool Program!!
So.....Any thoughts on this?? Anything wrong with givin a friend 10 year old outdated unsupported software?
