I want to give a shout out to all the Seniors of 2008 especially to my daughter Tabitha who walks the stage this Friday and leaves the world of high school behind her and opens the new door to college life.

Why thank you, of sorts.

I just left my mandatory education and for some strange reason, I am diving back into two more years of education at the school I just left, and then at least 4 more years of education after that.

YAY!

Congrats to all the other seniors/high school graduates/people who have left mandatory education =D

Just one more year (and a bit) and i'm off to Uni ... for 4-6 years doing pure maths and computers :|

I don't have a yearbook either, I wore my old school uniform and got people to sign it.

As did everyone else, and I just ended up writing on various parts of peoples' bodies, "Gemma owns this arm/leg/...etc..."

Then the shirt got egged and now there's a lovely stain in it. Which frankly, is a memory in itself, reminding me of the complete ******s who attended my educational establishment.

Dave do you also still have to wait for your results?

Mine don't arrive until late August =[

Results from year 10? (grade 10) Got them months ago :)

I think the educational system is different over here, there is no test to pass to get into senior school. All you have to do is have an 85%+ attendance record and the brains to cope with the amount of work you get. :)

Er yeah.

In senoir school we have 5 years to work, the first three towards SATs that don't matter a lot, and the next two for GCSEs, which go on our resumes for jobs and stuff.

And when I say they do, I mean they do. They have to even when you have degrees and such from big universities.

What results do you have that you show to like employers and such and suchamundo?

I had underclassmen awards tonight..
I got
A college scholar award
outstaning algebra student
And i found out i was a junior marshal :-)

Tabitha received a 1000 college scholarship her honor cords for DECA, Spanish Honor Society and Computer Society all in all she hada great high school year so tommorow is her final day she walks across the stage at 8pm at the football field.
Congrats to all Seniors one door opens the next opens and may god bless you on your special grad days and nights.

Hm this has given me an idea for a new thread... =D

The graduation was a success the seniors had fun hitting around beach balls, shooting off silly string and throwing tortillas as the ceremny went on it was a true sight to see, after the ceremny we all went to the football field and took pics, we had our family party last night and the big party is tonight.
