I am informed whenever someone comments on a posted image, someone sends me a personal message and my donation has run out. I just discovered today that I receive no indication when someone replies to my comment on a posted image. The only way I know of... now... to see these replies is to click on my username:. I did so for the first time today (I don't know why!) and lo & behold a bunch of replies to my comments... even some questions!!! Questions which have never been answered of course. I, for ONE, would love to be notified when someone replies to my comment. I see this as an encouragement to make comments and an opportunity to get to know people (or get to be known) a little quicker/easier.

I had the same thing when I started here.. what you do is click subscribe at the top of the page under your profile that way when people comment on your user page it comes up as a subscription

I just visited 'Edit Profile' and I see no 'Subscribe' there. Note: I received a Subscription notice that you had responded to my first message here... and I do get Subscription notices when someone comments on my post. It is notification of the poster's reply to my comment for which I am looking.

You need to subscribe to the page the person is going to comment on. So if you think they are going to reply to your question on the image, you need to subscribe to the image. Most people will reply on your profile. You need to visit your own profile by clicking your username and then subscribe to it, rather than using edit profile. In the same way you can subscribe to my profile, or any other members.

Listen to Sam...when you go to a persons posted photo, there is a little part that says "subscribe to this discussion" and you click on that, then you will be notified under your Subscriptions...which is on the left side of the caedes opening page. Then it will show you whose page to go to, yours or whoever, and then you'll see ALL the comments..Yayyyyy! So I think you got it now eh my friend? I tis soooooooooooo

All those comments that go to the 'User information for Con_' or whomever (comment left after clicking on a user's name) should be reported like a 'Personal message' but perhaps as a 'Public message' and thus I(we) could be informed of its existence. This is what I have been trying to say. :o)

If you subscribe to your personal page, you'll get a message when somebody posts on it. 8•)
