I have some other sites just like the ones you pointed out
this would be an example:
http://www.dcresource.com/ but unfortunately, they cannot be of that much help :(
for the moment i have a fuji finepix s5500 (i bought it a few years ago) and i was thinking to buy a new one, but... here is the problem:
- some say you gotta take the photos in raw format and canon s5 is doesn't have that
- some other say that you need IS and fuji (they have raw format) doesn't have IS
- if you really want a good camera you gotta go for the expensive SLR which are great, but you also have to buy the lenses and... i can only imagine myself running around with the lenses trying to decide which one is best to use... (that, of course, if i win the lottery and suddenly i can afford the equipment)
So i was hoping, maybe, we could all state what cameras we use and that might help us better decide...
all the professional reviews come with pros and cons and that makes it even harder to decide sometimes...
Hiya Cris, join the topic here for posting camera equipment and reading what others use. regarding your raw/IS quandry. I'm using a S5IS and am very satisfied with the results. I can't say I didn't wish it had RAW, but for the price of the camera I have zero complaints.
As far as review sites for cameras/lenses, etc here are some more places for people to look:
