I am as amateur as they come when it relates to making photographs, but I have discovered the my finepix s700 is Batch photo capable but does not support RAW format. I want to start experimenting with HDR photography. I have a tripod so thats no problem. But I would love get some advice on metering, and setting the shot to the right exposure to the element that I am in. IE...Night shots, inside shots,..etc. I have the programs needed to put together the project, but just looking for some advice to try to make this project a sucess. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just posted in another HDR thread, so I'm cutting & pasting here.

I have my own problems with Photomatix, mainly at the borders of objects. It's almost like an exaggerated CA (Chromatic Aberration) effect. I've also read that using RAW files as your source is overkill, jpeg's have enough depth to create good HDR's if they're shot correctly.
