Is it possible to take an image out of "circulation" after a week or two without deleting it. but can remain in ones gallery untill they are finally removed.The reason is that people get tired of seeing them but may take a look into a gallery later.

There isn't currently a way for the users to do it. A mod can "hide" an image by moving it to a hidden gallery, but then only mods can view it. It's a worthwhile feature maybe.

So um yeah, typing in caps made you look really intelligent & helped get the point across...

Caedes isn't saying they are not good enough, the numbers did that...

& me thinks it is you that is ungrateful, this site allows you to showcase your own artwork wihout the "expense" of shelling out for personal webspace/bandwidth, or if you do have one helps you attract new visitors too it. So going off on one isn't making you look any better or making Caedes out to look like the bad guy.

agreed taz ..I think that we all have had images deleted from this last "spring cleaning" era but I think that was overacting just a bit. ..I can't say that it didn't upset me too but I have come to realizing and accepting why it is that they do it. ...*we still love you caedes*

This site isn't designed for personal galleries, rather good artwork. I feel inadequate in myself and many of my images, and I feel surprised that some of them are partially accepted. True, some of my favorites have the lowest rating, but the c-index is compiled of many people's thoughts. I am sorry, Matt.

I dont get it paws.I was not going off and i am not ungrateful.I had brought this up because i thought it might be a good way to free up the new images where there are so many new images comming in.Instead of letting an image stay in circulation for a month or so that is not doing anything,perhaps the user could have the option of taking it out of the way and leave it in his or her gallery...Shees some people..

if its just in the new images gallery i dont think too many people will really see it anyways, because as i see it most people just look through the first few pages by cindex, or date, so unless its really good most people wont see it much after a few days

Yes thats a good point and your are right .So maybe as i said it might be a good idea to let the user take it out of the way and free up space if space is a problem.

The idea of the "Hall of Shame" is to censor without censoring. If a comment is placed there, it's usually for something like language or content that the site as a whole may not appreciate stumbling onto. At the same time, the comment still exists, so it hasn't technically been "censored". Having a comment moved to the Hall results in a -5 karma penalty as well.

It's definitely happened, there are at least 4 users with negative karma.

wow, thats really brutal if you think about it, i havent seen many hall of shamers, but i guess some people can constantly amaze you :P
