Thanks everyone, I hope I can gain a bit of knowledge from sticking around here - art and
photography has always been an interest of mine (next to music). I've started a tech
and arts project which I hope will ultimately host a large database of photography and
other forms of artwork submitted by our users, as well as other types of content. Wish me luck!

I still dont have professional equipment. ..I have a Canon PowerShot A70 and to edit I have IPhoto and PhotoImpression ...no Photoshop... Anyways welcome to the family man and I know you will enjoy yourself.

Don't even worry about not owning professional photography equipment. Every photo I have taken has been with my Canon Powershot A80, a reasonably priced camera that has performed admirably. And about being a committed member, the fact that you started this thread speaks worlds about you...many people join this site and contribute nothing to the community within it!

that I do not own professional photography equipment, nor am I even a novice at
