Not Uploading?

I've tried twice now to upload a picture. I did the Voting Booth, typed in the information in the upload form, and did everything like normal. Last night after it "uploaded", that screen where it usually says wait until it's approved, it had the box but it was blank. I tried again today, even resized the picture to make it smaller, and I got the same screen.

What's going on here?

Looks like we were running low on disk space again. Fixed for now.

I'm also having an uploading issue.
It keeps telling me it was interrupted in the process...nothing will upload.

Connection Interrupted

EDIT: Exact error message....

The document contains no data.

The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again.

Shewolfe, that sounds like an internet service interruption. Can you try it again, later in the day?

Nope, still not working, in any of my browsers.
Something is definitely up, and it's not from this end.

If you'd like, send the image to me, and I'll see if I can upload it. PM sent.

It looks like the images are uploading fine now. Am I correct?

I'm a new paying member and I'm having the same problem as "clarkephotography." It goes through the upload dialog and I get a blank screen when it is finished--a small screen with the Caedes logo sideways on the left. I've tried this numerous times at different times on different days. I've also gone to the page where it shows my "REFERER" thing (sorry, don't know what it is, exactly), but what it shows is exactly the same as is in my URL.
PowerMac G5, 2ghz, 3gb memory, 10.5.4, uploading in the recommended .png format.

Replies are greatly appreciated.

Check your file size.....3000x3000 max and 10mb seem to be the magic max numbers. Png format can tend to be a bit bigger I believe.
*caedes will see this and will check disk space.

Let us know if you have any luck uploading! :=)

My uploads are all jpg format, and are always under 2MB. You shouldn't need 10MB.

If I try to upload something too big it usually has a specific error to say its too big...at least I saw one a long time ago.

Is this not now the case? It would be best.

Thanks for the suggestions, and you're right: the .png is 11+ mb. I'll try a 100% .jpg.

To clear some of the air ...

There is no file size restriction in terms of overall file size. As in, Kb's or Mb's.

Right-clicking on any image ... and then selecting "Properties" from that action menu will tell you the overall file size in case you are unsure. As well as, file type.

The only 'size' restriction is the 3000 pixels a side as Mimi states above. Exceed that and you will be apprised accordingly via an error message if you try to upload, for example ... an image that is 3366 X 2388.
