Is there a lens that anyone would suggest using on night shots such as that of city lights to help take the glare away? Is the UV filter a good choice? Maybe the polarized filter? Any ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I'd go with a polarizer, but also try stopping down your EV (exposure value) 2/3rds to 1 stop. also try compensating with a slightly faster shutter speed, less contrast, a smaller aperture (f11 or tighter) and an ISO of 200.

Adjust to taste ;-)

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
