PC. All the plug ins, beat them all. It's still on my computer and I go in and wander sometimes. Right now I'm working my way through Thief; Deadly Shadows and it's taking up most of my play time. Well, that and this.

That's funny Clayton, I've been through two computers since the game came out and I've transfered it from one to the other, It's been there a couple of years. Everything else gets ripped off as soon as I see an end screen. Several saves and characters because I want to join every guild and complete everything. I wish only that the journal was a little better it's hard to go back through notes. I wasn't as crazy about the plug ins but they were like a mountain, I had to have them because they were there.
I'm a big rpg fan, but the only ones I've really gotten into are a Shadowbane, Dark Ages of Camelot, and Lineage 2. I guess I'll have to try this one out (if it isnt too costly).
morrowind aint an monthly drain out of your pocket so you should be able to pick it up for about £20 or eq. it's a good game too but im more looking forward to the star wars knights of the old republic 2 and dungeon siege 2 as both are looking good

Shadowbane looks great, but I'm on dial up so I havn't on-lined anything. The main reason I havn't gone to cable is because of accute gaming addiction. I'd forget to eat, sleep, got to work, sort of like when I'm here.
shadowbane is nice, lineage 2 is as well, not sure which I would say I like more. shadowbanes ability to build cities and more controlled fighting, along with flying characters is nice. but lineage really puts u into the fantasy world with its graphics sounds and quests. DOAC is good, but its umm, old....
i happen to be in love with morrowind. i'm one of the people who gets on just to go from place to place when i'm bored. i haven't been on in a while, though.
Morrowind is an awesome game. The only problem is that the game has WAY too many bugs and glitches. I have it on Xbox, and I think that the PC version is too cheap with the console to get items.

I like all of the Elder Scrolls games in the series including Morrowind, although the original PC version is the only way to play it. I also play the original Unreal from time to time.

UT is nice, The Sims gets old quickly, you arent missing anything.
The new version of Unreal are a waste of cash, everytime the release a new version now its just an update of graphics. The game play is exactly the same, the weapons and features are exactly the same. You may as well play the classic UT and save system resources.
No I mean the original Unreal game. Its a single player game with limited multiplayer functions. I agree about UT, I have played them all up to 2004 and they are all alike with different graphics.
Going back to the Elder Scrolls series, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (forgot spelling) is in creation. It will include better graphics, new abilities, and the ability to ride horses!! If you want to find out more, Just go to morrowind.com.
........lol, you have a point, but most poor people already have a PC (some poor because of the computer), and a new next-gen console is a little too pricey.
I loved Morrowind - played it extensively on the PC last year. I liked it so much I bought some more RAM and a new graphics card just to play it faster. I completed the main quest really quick and did a load of the side quests. I got tired after a while though - I ended up with so many awesome weapons and armour (had a little weapons dump in Balmora where I left everything) and my stats got so good in the end that I just massacred anything that attacked me.
I played the Tribunal add-on which was cool - much harder than the main game which made it a bit more challenging.

I had a similar experience with the game including buying more memory to play it better. I also ran into the high-stat problem and the game began to seem redundant. I have not played the expansion, however.
didn't know there was an expansion for it, will have to look out for it, just now im working my way through beyond divinity kinda slowly. it's odd that instead of just one character you *have* to keep alive you have two. a good guy and a bad guy i've a feeling that at the end they are going to have to fight each other
i like the expansion for mournhold. that was really awesome. i also had a little dump where i left anything worth value that i didn't want to carry at the time. i left it in....the mage's guild in vivec.

I forget where you get it because its been so long now, but I remember it was with one of those "houses" in Ald'ruhn that have a place inside the giant hollowed-out crab.

Fine vapors escape whatever is doing the living.
The night is cold and delicate and full of angels
Pounding down on the living. The factories are all lit up,
The chime goes unheard.
We are together at last, though far apart.
-from “The Ecclesiast” by John Ashbery
Both my characters, the mage and the fighter, have about 200 strength, can fly, have health that recharges automatically, and are practically invincible. The real test was that it was easy as pie to kill Lord Vivec.....
I close my eyes
And his image floats beside me.
A sweaty-toothed madman
With a stare that pounds my brain.
His hands reach out and choke me
And all the while he's mumbling.
Mumbling truth.
Truth like a blanket that always leaves your feet cold.
You push it, stretch it, It'll never be enough. you kick at it, beat it, It'll never cover any of us.

To the moment we leave, dying.
It'll just cover your face as you wail and cry and scream. -Todd DPS

I've seen the screenshots for Elder Scrolls IV (and they are screenshots, not renders) and they are awesome, and apparently they are not even fully developed yet, so will look even better. Wow.
