At the end of its first month when my first image was evaluated, it was deleted. I'm not upset about it or anything, I'm just wondering if we have any control over how well our image does. I know that I personally do not go to the back of the new images gallery very often, and I think that having images in the new images gallery decreases their chances of being popular. One way to solve this might be to have a new images subgallery of images with a c-index of less than 75 or something. I think this would improve the popularity of new images.

Check out the "Lonely Images" gallery. It's the second link below Discussion Board in the Navigation section of the frame at left. It's not exactly what you're looking for, but sounds pretty close.

Yeah, I did check the lonely images gallery, but I didn't see my image in there. I'll look again. What is a lonely image? Is it deleted after a month? I'm sure my image is not in there because it doesn't appear under caedes control.
