Pat (PatAndre) has asked me to let everyone know that she is OK. The storm did not make landfall where forecasted, so the damage was not as severe as anticipated. There is no power therefore no Internet, but she is at her house of refuge (see image in her gallery :) and all is well at this time.
She thanks everyone for all the thoughts, prayers and good wishes.

Thank you Mimi for the update, I know all of our prayers are going out for all those in harms way. I do not know Pat well, but please send her my thoughts and prayers when you talk to her next.

I'm so happy to know Pat's doing well, in fact it's a relief that Gustav wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Now... I get to worry about Hanna. My son Benjamin lives in Mt. Pleasant South Carolina, which is right by Charleston & he works on the Isle of Palms.

He can walk to the beach from his house. Here's a map.

We wont get a direct hit of Hanna but we live in Darlington SC about 60-70 miles from the Ocean. It should hit about 12-3AM Tomorrow morning
