I dont think there is a limit, to delete one, go to the image you accidentaly favedand click the button that says

Lillie,make sure that you look at the top of your favorites and see how they are being 'sorted'. It can be randomly, by c-index, or by date. I keep mine by date, just a personal preference :)
There is no limit on the number of favorites and Jonathan is correct that you simply use the - favorites to delete one.

Also is there a way to delete the ones I accidentally put in there?? They are pretty but not exactly my favorite...
