Is there an easy way???

I've inherited an elaborate slide presentation project including several (100+) before/after slide transitions for which I have to take the 'after' pic to match the perspective as the 'before' pic. Is it just wishful thinking that I remember a freeware app which facilitated the superimpositon of one image upon another for editing purposes?

advTHANKSance,

If I understand you correctly Mike, I believe there are a number of programs that will assist in such a task. I did a simple search online for "freeware program to locate duplicate images on PC", and found quite a few. Here is just one DupliFinder . For a web-based program, I would recommend Tineye .

Let me know if these are not what you are looking for.

Ok, my googlin' curiosity got the better of me.

Go here ... to aFreeGo.com ... and using their search function, I entered 'image editing' for the terms and came up with 1584 possible hits.

On the first page were a couple that looked like they might fit your bill.

Brief synopsis of the programs/software ... and some are freeware, some shareware. However, it might be a good starting point for you.

If I understand you correctly, you are looking for a program that will do 'batch' editing for one.

Insofar as superimposing one image on another ... to my mind, you are referring to layering. With the capabilities of further editing.

So, possibly combining with Lori's suggested software above ... and then finding an image editing program ... that about do it?

Yes, well batch editing would be frosting on the cupcake.

Maybe I should backup a little and let you think outside of the box for me :o)

What I have on my plate is a glorified PowerPoint(less) presentation with syncronized audio featuring 100+ 'before' pictures of a building project to which I add 'after' pictures which I take from the same perspective and vantage point as the 'before's, and then tidy up... The app I'm trying to remember might have had something to do with morphing, but I considered other uses at the time. I blame the aluminum cookware mom used when I was a child.

The above, along with laying down multi-track synchronized audio is fading my purple fur... I'm about 1/3 of the way through doing it the 'hard way'. Thanks for any and all insights!
