As of 8:45pm EST, still can't upload. Got a "500" error message, and sent an email to the address in the instructions.

I'm getting an error message too but at least now I know it's not an issue with my computer. My only problem now is I have to stop procrastinating and actually write my essay:) Thanks for keeping us informed, Kelcey (11:15 AEST).

Success with upload at 9:07 pm CST. Waiting to see if image shows in new image gallery.

I can see some images, but a few I can't see in the VB.

Not sure if what you encountered were the results of the original problem or some residual affect.

If you could, please fill in the blanks as to when this happened or occurred. Just trying to ascertain the root cause.


And an aside, some times ... some times, clearing your browser's cache ... or temporary files ... can remedy what you reported above.

I am not able to upload in one go. My internet connection speed is by no means slow but when I hit the upload button the browser shows the image is uploading but after some time gives a blank page. I don't remember when was the last time I uploaded without any issues. I thought the problem is with my firewall and browser. But now i am sure that is not the issue. Any suggestions?

I tried clearing cache and changing browsers.No use. I get to upload but only after trying like 10 times.!!!

Yesterday my birthday cake didn't show up, What is really funny it's was voted on twice...how can you vote on a picture that can't be seen?
Guess it's just one of life's unsolved mysterious...
After waiting 24 hours to see if my cake would appear I gave up deleted and reposted it.
Sometimes stuff just happens.

The usual suspects of questions ...

File size? As in total file size in kbs' or MBs'?

Time of uploads?

Looking at your post times above ... fairly close to the maintenance time for the site. Are we talking about the same time frame?


And an aside and suggestion ... vary your upload times, try and avoid early, early morning to avoid any frustration for one.

By all means, if it continues to happen to you ... please feel free to report back to this thread and we'll try and figure out the 'what' ... and then, a resolution.

As I believe the adjustments and maintenance that needed to be addressed ... have been addressed.
