Personally I was very moved by the film. Although it did not convert me to any particular belief, I did have a hellish night of questioning my thoughts and feelings and I ultimately fell to bits.
I just wanted to hear other peoples opinions on the film and how it made them feel.
P.S. The brutality that I saw in the film mirrors todays realities far to closely. 2004 years( if you believe the bible) and the human race still hasn't learnt.
I havent had a chance to see it yet, though everyone that I know who has seen it has been deeply moved. My mom says that she doesn't really want to sit through 45mins of Jesus being tortured. ...and no: the human race has not changed at all for the better; its gotten worse. Sad but True...

It hasnt gotten worse, pessimism makes it worse. 100 yrs ago in this country african americans couldnt eat in the same places as caucasions, another 100yrs ago and they were being sold as slaves. Go back a few thousand yrs more and they were indescrimanent because nearly all poor people were slaves. The world was full of intolerance and injustice, its gotten better and it continues to get better. Simple because people care. Individuals may seem more apathetic than the masses, but of what importance is this?
