Can anyone give recommedations for a good place (other than deviantART) to download good desktop icons? I'm getting tired of the ones I currently have :)

it's a bit of overkill but IrfanView is a good software that edits and saves to .ico files...this is of course assuming windows is your filesystem

That looks like a pretty interesting program, but what I'm looking for is pre-made icons that I can download for my desktop. Like this.

Just do a internet search for desktop icons,you should get a bunch of hits.

There's always the option of making your own. ..I've been doing that for awhile ...with the different color guitars and stuff. I know Sam (samtar) makes his own too. ...just a thought.

Yes, I've thought of that also....do you need a special program to do that and convert them to .ico form?

I'm sure there was a discussion on that... I looked through a few pages but couldn't find it. Anyway, I used to use Microangelo which I found quite easy to use, I think the current version gives you a free trial for a few weeks which really should be all you need.
