I'm so glad they are finally discussing something OTHER than the war in Iraq!

Also, it seems as if the moderation of this debate is really lax. At one point Bush talked right over Charles Gibson.

You are right about that. I feel that Bush came across as far more agitated than Kerry. Kerry seemed intense, while Bush seemed like he might loose his cool.

I too am glad that the debates are finally going to be about more than war. I've got a lot of economic and environmental concerns and the only way to get some other views is by moderated force. On another note I'd like to see Jon Stewart host a debate! It is disturbing Anthony when ALL your eyes shift at once.

Yes, there was a CNN poll just before the debate started that asked what viewers would like to be debated more this time. 1) Iraq 2)Domestic Issues

The leader by about 77% was Domestic Issues. The war is an important issue, but not the only one! I was so glad to hear debate on the economy and enviroment included.

Well you will be relieved with the 3rd debate which is strictly on domestic policy as the first was strictly on foreign policy

btw, bush in fact did receive an $84 tax cut from shares in a lumber company. check the debate fact sheets.
