How does this EXAMPLE 1 and this EXAMPLE 2 get higher scores than this EXAMPLE 3 and EXAMPLE 4 . Is it because they're birds? Are they fancied more so? I must know! Please give me your logic or thoughts as to why this is.

Go to the photography page and sort by CI. the first page is covered with birds - ok and insects. Does that answer your question? Also, Pano's and portraits are not good desktops so I suppose they get marked down for that too.

for the example 3 it s beacause it is a pano, people doesn t like it( i do, especially such a beautiful one!) for exampe 4 i don t get it neither, i guess people have no taste, and they seem to enjoy above all kind photos of animals..

Both the higher scoring ones are in a format ideal for wallpaper. The others are nice but not user friendly?

Example 1 the grass distracts you from the bird who is the subject

Example 2 just doesn't do it for me yes there are birds and a tree and a lovely clear sky I wouldn't put it on my desktop.. sorry

Example 3. Beautiful scene would look nice in a print but not suitable for wallpaper

Example 4 again gorgeous pic but once again not suitable for desktop

As for the scores i'm scratchin my head too because i don't think that 1 & 2 should be that high, 3 yes its great, 4 is nice I think that one scored 57 because there are a few other images uploaded similar to that one plus its vertical.

You have to remember this is a wallpaper site.

I honestly think that most people voting in the booths just do it quick and easy and vote good if they like it and vote bad if they don't.

I don't pay attention anymore to the votes I get on my artwork, because I don't think it's really the true vote of being artistic.

Example, for those who don't like Abstract Art always seem to vote it low, where someone who likes it will vote it high.

All art is, is a matter of likes and dislikes and this entire voting system is silly and to me really means nothing.

If I were you, I wouldn't pay any attention to it and just continue posting your art. I thought all of them were good and worth posting. I personally like the 2 that got the lower score more than the 2 that got the higher score.

Keep up the good work and don't let the voting system on this site get you down. I just don't think people really take the time to vote artistically.
