And then for those of the older contests ... black fills the entire thumbnail of the winning submissions.

Didn't check all contest galleries, just the first half dozen plus or so.

Just checked and in addition to the first instance(/post) ... looked at some more of the past contest winning gallery pages, and it is not just black squares. Add in white to the equation.

Temp caches have been cleared. All the usual stuff. Soooo ...

??

At least it is not a widespread problem.

Yes, only the contest galleries are affected where me and my browsing is concerned.

Actually, there is some cryptic sense to the above, now that I think about it.

Was simply looking at stuff ... for the first time in a bit, and wondered, initially, if what was happening was a result of the images not having been cached yet. (Re: server changes.)

*caedes will figure it out. No biggie. More an f.y.i. in case it went beyond my experience.

I also see a problem with a page and related to the last contest result,at the main page of Caedes,by clicking on "the "Curves" contest results." then it opens a new page named "Contest #20: Curves" but the images cannot be seen,i use Firefox 3,i also tried with IE but the images cannot be seen either,there are red crosses instead.

Have you tried to look at any of the past contest galleries, Jerome?

And if so, what happens where you are concerned?


Perhaps, the problem does extend just beyond my personal experience.

And embarrassingly, I will admit to using IE.

There is a page from which past contests can be seen,i took a look at some of them and there is the same problem,the images cannot be seen,it is blank or black,there are just comments that can be seen.If i click on a "blank" or "black" image then the image can be seen as well as comments.The page i am referring to is the following:

Yes, that is the same page I have been using to link to the past contest galleries ... and ... with the same results as yourself, Jerome.

Most current contest finished ... little boxes, red strikes within.

Older contest galleries ... either black on the winning thumbnails or white in some instances.

All text/words can be seen by myself, again, like you.

There is no problem,have a good evening.

Ok, I do see only black and white boxes, now that I have clicked the link that Jerome provided. When I click on these boxes, the image's page opens and I am able to see the image.

Where as before, I was selecting the contest galleries from the upper left hand side on the main page.
