Since I'm feeling particularly unhelpful, and at the same time, feel it necessary to show off the fact that I am a huge nerd, I found that:
Even with a 23" Apple Cinema HD Display, showing 2000 images at once would make them all about 1/4 inch tall. (.2985 to be more precise). On a regular-old 17" monitor, they'd be closer to .2 inches tall. Not exactly going to bring out the detail. :)
Winternight: Take a look at this.
I don't know how legit the company is, though. Some of thier products seem *too* good to be true... :-D
And with that, this thread is completely off-topic.
*pulls out wallet* how much is this going to be, price doesn't matter here. ;-)
I wish I could have that, that is awesome!!! Lets hope it isn't too good to be true =D
...Just looked up the price, a cheap price of: $17,500, ::shocked::. You could buy 9 powerhouse computers for that price, I'm suprised they aren't out of business.
You can achieve the same effect with recent ATi and nVidia cards that have both an analog and a DVI (or two DVI) outputs. This would only allow for two simultaneous monitors, unless you wanted to buy another video card and the monitors to go with it. Happy spending :P
On a serious note though, Caedes, I'd really like to view more than just 21 images per page, so I can just scroll instead of having to keep clicking "next page, next page, next page..."
I realize the load times would be a little longer, but I don't mind.
