Ok, i know i'm not that active on Caedes but i need some constructive criticism from people who AREN'T directly related to me or friends.

So basically, this is a plea for those who read this to go to my gallery and give your HONEST opinion about any image you feel could do with some criticism. Hell, even slam me for producing a pile of garbage (just remember to point out why that is so and what i can do to make it better :D)

P.s. i know i do get some proper feedback, but this is rare :(

Hi David: OK Ill give you some feedback, but beware! the opinions expressed are my own and are intended to help you create what I like, with your displayed skills. When I first looked at your gallery, I started from your first post to your latest post. I was awed by the imagination and creativity displayed. I thought this was some good stuff, but as I have learned, computer generated stuff keeps my attention for only a short period of time. So that means you would have to keep generating more art to feed my finicky appetite. The skills you displayed in your CG art were outstanding, but seemed to lack some originality. I also noticed that as you went along, you posted filter generated art, which quickly lost my interest. I am older and do not have much awe for bling art. For a guy of 17 you have very good artistic and creative skills, your colors and focus are right-on. but its obvious your imagination is influenced by your internet environment. Then you started to post some stable classic photography. Now I can tell by looking how you handle a camera, you have an image in your head of what you want, and you know how to use perspective and composition to produce your image. This was good stuff, but the competition for attention in photography is fierce. You seem to have quickly give up on it and reverted back to good ole comfortable CG. What does all this blab mean? If you make an effort to combine your CG skills with classic photographic style, you would be surprised at the attention you will generate. You see the world a lot different than my well used eyes do. I would be keenly interested to see it. I think a 60% photography and 40% computer generated post would be a nice balance. Good Luck in your efforts, and Thanks for sharing your art.

While trying to create good pictures, I feel as if I am standing on the edge of Insanity. There is a door. I found myself knocking on the door. The door opened.. . . I was knocking from the inside. Oh Rats!

Thanks Jerry :)

The lack of photography is due to the fact that i don't really get out much, however 'tis the holiday season so i'll see if i can get some good shots :D

Anyway, as of late, a majority of my work has been going to my dA account because Caedes has a 1 pic per day rule for free members :(

However i will be uploading a lot of work over the holidays so keep posted (and i'll try to literally blend photography and CG :P).

What i really spend most of my time doing is making 'sigs' for people online (see here and here)

David: I got to hand it to you, I tried to make a 'sig' once and I was lousy at it, the 'sigs' thats what I couldnt remember. The 'sigs' have a strong influence on your work. You are very good at it. makes me wonder just how good you could be in photography if you tried more of it. I am looking forward to viewing your efforts.
