Hey guys, I just wanted to say, that any of you that are like me and can take over 150 pictures on one sunset, or just running around anywhere like a trigger happy crazy person, then this is for you :) I've found on e-bay a nice little storage device, runs about 160 GBP == about $184 US. It's an mp3/portable hard drive. it's 40GB and is really quite nifty. I'm going to Israel for 10 days with my Pastor and he's helping me buy one so I can store my pics without having to spend a ton of cash on multiple more memory cards and still worry about running out of space... now I think at 6.3MP on my pictures, I can store between 30-40,000 pictures on this. It runs on rechargeable batteries and has 9 in 1 card reader. So it makes dumping your images a snap. All in all.. I would say that this is a must for anyone that's going on extended trips and needs cheap storage space. There's also a similar one on www.ritzcamera.com but doesn't have mp3 functionality and runs about $149 US. I can't wait to get mine, and since I'm traveling I figure the extra mp3 functionality will make it a bit easier, cause I can snap pictures, and dump them to disk and jam out at the same time :) Anyway, I don't have the link handy, but can post it when I get more time tomorrow. Joel, enjoy your trip and bring back a ton of shots! I have seen those in several camera places and if I hadn't recently bought a new laptop for that purpose, I would have definitely considered one. I believe that they even have ones that will burn CD's on the spot, from a flash card.

yes, mp3/external storage unit My pastor just won one for 107 GBP (Brittish Pound), which is about $196 US. that link lists all the ones that are still for sale on e-bay :) there were 4 when I checked 2 minutes ago from this post! Hope that helps :) congrats on the laptop brphoto, I would love to do that but money limitations at the time dont' allow ;) eventually though, then I can edit photo's on the spot :)
