remember the Sigma APO 200-500mm F2.8/400-1000mm EX DG beasty lens a year or so ago and everyone feverishly anticipating its price expected to be between 5-7K USD? - well it's out on the market now to fit most mounts but dont expect to see too many around partly because of the camo paint job but mainly because of the 35,000 price tag :-)
im curious as to its practical uses. its not powerful enough really for astrophotography. its way too impractical for field work unless you come complete with an entourage of manservants to carry all the paraphenalia that goes with it which just leaves using the teleconverter to get really clear shots of celebretard cellulite on the beach from a discreet distance offshore.
I recall reading that it was used for survellience and other government/military type stuff. Which probably explains the ludicrous price tag as well...
