Following, is a small irritation I would like to see corrected. When someone posts an image and they mention my name (PatAndre)in their commentary, then their image will reside in my personal gallery. Can this be corrected?

Can you provide an example? As far as I know, this (should) be impossible? Are you talking about the search engine?

Go to Wallpaper Search and type in my Caedes name (PatAndre). Start scrolling down thru my images and you will find 6 images that are not mine:

Sunshine V2 by LynEve
Another Nut for Pat Andre by egggray
Pacific Blue by LynEve
White Angel Scans Distraction by cynlee
PatAndre's Defenced Hydranges by phasmid
Houston from The bayou by Anita54

These images are in my gallery because the artist used my name in the title or in the commentary.

Pat, there seems to be a bit of confusion. The results that come up in image search are not a gallery, so the images there aren't necessarily *in* your gallery. Image search also doesn't bring up your gallery as results, it references the search words and bring up images that have a connection to them. If you searched for "Hydrangea" the results wouldn't be a Hydrangea gallery, but images that have the word Hydrangea somewhere in the title or commentary.

The reason you see primarily your own images when you type your name into the image search is because well - your images have the most frequency in common with your name.

Ok, I understand what your saying now. Nothing against the images by others. They are nice images. Then I wish the site would provide a way to delete other people's images from that area so that when someone types PatAndre in the Wallpaper search box, that's what they get-PatAndre's images. If you want only your images to show up in a gallery, the correct location is your personal gallery (linked from your profile page). The search engine is simply designed to look for words.

or, simply direct them to type "PatAndre.caedes.net" in their explorer's address bar, and they'll simply go right to your gallery.. with nuthin but.. your pics ;-)

ps- that works for anyone, just substitute the username, and voila!

Well,no biggie either way. I had forgotten about the fact that the "Wallpaper Search" can be used to find all images with a certain word in them (for instance, snow)so that is a valuable feature to have. So I understand why others peoples images show up in the PatAndre wall paper search if that word is used in the title or the commentary of an image. Sorry folks. I should have "thunk" first. (Walks away beating herself with her own rock filled purse).
