There is a problem with a few photos, they do not load and it is still the same after trying again later,it seems to affect the highest resolutions.I also noticed another issue,a few photos are in PNG format instead of JPEG.

Does anyone know what happens?

Best guess here ...

A caching problem of sorts, Jerome.

As in, site traffic and demands on the site servers ... in conjunction with changes being introduced ... have resulted in some slow downs and 'glitches' along the way.

No formal indication of any problem has been noted on the server logs.

Is the situation still occurring for you as of my writing here?

Thank you for the response.I know that Sefa (Susanne) and a bunch of other people also mentioned this issue, they could not see some photos in fullscreen as it did not load.

I will see if it works better today and i will report in this topic.

Now It seems to work fine so far but there is still a problem with Tigger3's (Sandi) photos, the highest resolutions cannot be seen,it seems to not do that with other people's photos so there is something screwed up with Tigger3's photos.

Yes, at least, 'A Hare But Where is the Tortoise' by Tigger3 (Sandi) does not load the largest of the sizes available... 1475x980! However, the smaller sizes 622x413, 829x551 and 1106x735 sizes do load.
I do notice that the largest has the extender .tiff whereas the smaller sizes have the extender .tiff.jpg ! I am sure that is where the problem lies! A .tiff was uploaded and *caedes' code creates filenames for the smaller images with a default .jpg extension and so the smaller images display while the original retains the extension with which it came (and in this case, because it is .tiff, it does not display. :o)

The tiff extension is probably the problem, the highest resolutions do not load but the other resolutions can be seen indeed. You are right,Tigger3's (Sandi) photos have the extension .tiff.jpeg,the problem is with the highest resolutions as mentioned above.

I contacted Nathan and asked about this problem. He suggested using the png so that is what I will do for now on. I have been uploading using the tiff format for a very long time.?? But will change it. I started uploading in tiff format on the recommendation of a member and that was a long time ago. Sandi

Thank you Sandi and Purmusic,i just wanted to point out this issue. It is true that the tiff format is very good but it causes an issue indeed.
