Why do my icons keep getting deleted? What am I doing wrong? The only one that seems to stay around is a single black question mark on a white background. I'd like to use one a bit more interesting, but don't want to be breaking any rules or anything like that. Help.....

I can't say if any of your other icons were deleted on purpose since I'm the only one that can do that and I have only had to remove a few since the site started. However maybe I did. What were the other ones that you think were deleted?

The latest one was a kaleidoscope I made -- it was uploaded as a jpg at 60x60 pixels and was about 3KB in size. It was replaced by a pair of dice showing a 6 and a 1. The first one was a fairy child playing a flute that a friend emailed me, saying she made it for me. I thought perhaps she had fibbed and it was copyrighted or something when it was replaced on here by a very healthy (grin) farmer in green overalls. The icon isn't all that important, I just don't want to be breaking any rules. :)

No it doesn't sound like I would have deleted those. It's quite possible that there is some sort of software bug at work here. It would be difficult for me to find it for sure thought, since no logs of the icons are kept. I'm might go and look through the naming scheme that I'm using for the icon files though. Thanks.
