Well I will be in the dog house now. Why is the caedes higher ups requesting Comments on people work , if they dont recive any,by other members or to have someone tell you,you would be better off doing it this way because the number look better. This happened to me on one of my shots,I made a change an recieved a comment about it? Whats with that.I would rather not have any comments then to force someone to give me one, or remove my shot, easy as that.

the comment request system is a means of directing eyes, and preferably constructive critique, to an image that reaches a certain age and, by comparison to other works, has received less attention .. it is a fully automatic script, based solely on the above criteria

as people get busy with things, life, etc .. they are likely to pass over images that don't reach out and grab them, and so an artist that needs help and guidance with photography's basics may not get it ... there is also the fact that, with the friends list growing with every artist they are familiar with, they don't always have the time to see everything

it is provided as a benefit\service to the membership and is not intended as a slight against you and your works .. there is no way to have your username dropped out of the list

I should just add that no one is obliged to leave a comment on an image just because they receive a request. The idea is that someone may be able to offer some constructive advice on an image they may have otherwise missed. If you choose to ignore a comment request it will be passed on to another member.
