Well It's a free internet phone sevice that allows you to talk any where around the world for free using the internet and your computer to talk through. No bills no fee's. a friend of mine say's it works quit. So I up loaded it.
I browsed through it. Its basically an instant messenger. Skype to Skype "calls" are free, just like you can use the talk feature in aol instant messenger, but perhaps theirs is higher quality. I havent tried but I will. Calls from skype to an actual phone has charges. I am going to download it and test it, if the voice quality is higher than aim's talk feature (which sux, its capped for dial up users) I'll probably use it.
Tried it, no cap in quality, so its much clearer and crisp. There is about a .5 second delay with a Road Runner user talking to a user on college Lan. vs the 3 or so seconds in aim.
