I have the opportunity to purchase a Nikon 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 VR AF-S Nikkor Lens. Would love to have some personal advise on this lens. Does anybody own one? And if so, What's your take on it. I am reading reviews, just would love a personal side.

Thanks Pierre, You are right, it is a 18-55 Nikkor. My one finger typing got ahead of my brain (which isn't hard to do).

The latest 18-55 with VR (anti-shake) system is really fine. The VR is a great addition and the optic qualities are very good.
The only problem is the lack of range.
Actually, the 18-105 VR is the best choice, but a little more expansive.
