Is there a program to get rid of raindrop marks on a photo?

I often go out to take photos in the fog, but most of the time it's also softly raining. I don't always notice that some of the raindrops end up on my lens til I get home and put the photo on the computer. Does anyone know of a way to get rid of the drops showing on the photo? Is there a program that might help?

Did you try the clone tool in either PS or PSP? I think that would do the trick :)

I did try the clone tool, but it's very hard for it to work correctly with the grainy fog.

Photoshop CS2... the Spot-Healing Brush tool works fairly well with such problems as long as the photo isn't covered with raindrops........Wen

(*Rod Serling voice*) consider, if you will .. an image.. posted to photobucket.. and linked to during forum discourse .. a request made .. nay, a Challenge

"Do YOU, pixelboy, (or gurl) have the chops to wipe the tears from my photo"

aka

"won'tcha make my brown eyes blue"

then .. sit back .. wait patiently .. do whatever folks do in Oregon .. grease pigs if you must .. but curse not, should no one measure to the mark

(*/Rod*)

as for myself .. my hall pass says: I don't have PS installed
